About NBA
Welcome To The Nepal Bankers' Association
Nepal Bankers’ Association (NBA) is an umbrella organization of 20 Commercial Banks of Nepal, established under the Institution Registration Act, 2034. NBA was formed with the collective goal of fostering cooperation, enhancing coordination and encouraging healthy banking competition among its member banks. The Association is committed to develop and promote efficient, strong and creative banking activities based on the most recent and modern principles and prudent practices.
Through this Portal NBA aims
To provide timely, reliable and comprehensive banking and financial data to the member banks and other concerned stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
To serve as a central data-sharing platform that promotes coordination among member banks and supports the sound banking practices in Nepal.
To support broader financial sector stakeholders including researchers, students, development partners and policymakers by offering access to aggregated financial data and insights.
To strengthen NBA’s role in policy advocacy by using data and insights generated from the portal to provide timely recommendations to the Government of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank and other regulatory bodies
